"As a broker, my role is to find them what they want -- or get their assets sold -- and to help make thethe deal happen. As a broker who's also an attorney, my role in the deal is to advise and protect."

About Evan Langert

As a high level attorney working with a publicly traded company for more than a decade, and working in the world of Commercial Real Estate Finance for 5 years, Langert is exceptionally adept at understanding how lenders look at things, which he uses to structure the best possible deal for his clients. This plus his uncanny ability to consistently create a win-win situation for both parties in a transaction during difficult negotiations has earned him a reputation of being a master negotiator, and an invaluable resource to his clients.

Langert has a proven track record of helping his clients understand and navigate the legalities of their purchase, sale, or lease, and successfully negotiating the deal, without compromising the business terms or costing his clients the deal.

“As a broker, my role is to find them what they want --  or get their assets sold -- and to help them  make the deal happen,” said Langert. “As a broker who is also an attorney, my role in the deal is also to advise and protect. It’s my job to make sure you understand the risks, and the ramifications of each point, so that you make an informed decision to move forward or choose to walk away from the deal. In the end, it’s my client’s decision. I’m just there to facilitate, and make sure they get the best possible deal – whether that’s to get the highest possible price and close in the least amount time of possible, or whether that’s to negotiate the best possible rate and terms for my buying and leasing clients.”

In addition to his role as CRE Advisor and legal counsel, Evan is an investor and entrepreneur who has real world experience as a retail tenant in the hospitality sector and understands the ins and outs of being a landlord and helping his Landlord Rep clients navigate landlord-tenant disputes.

Evan’s specializations include Office, Industrial, Retail, Hospitality and Multi-Family. He serves Montgomery, Howard, Prince George, Anne Arundel, Frederick, and Baltimore Counties, and has been involved in several transactions throughout Maryland, D.C., Virginia, and several other states.

Langert is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Maryland State Bar Association, and is certified by the National Commercial Real Estate Association as a National Commercial Real Estate Advisor, and Certified Real Estate Investment Planning Specialist.

With experience gained at both local levels as well as national ones,  it is no surprise that he is established as one of the foremost experts in Baltimore-Washington DC Corridor CRE market.
